To say the last year has been unpredictable would be an understatement. However, at Prairie Family Business Association, we have continued to strive to provide family businesses with resources to thrive, even in trying times. With June coming to an end, we wanted to look back on the last six months of 2021 and how we have served our members.

When updating our statistics for the 2021 Mid-Year Snapshot infographic below, we found that since the end of 2020, Prairie Family Business Association has managed to grow by 15 families and now serves 222 total members of varying sizes, industries, and locations. We have increased Affinity Peer Group participation and held our largest Annual Hybrid Family Business Conference ever—some impressive milestones achieved in just the first half of 2021!

In April, Prairie Family Business Association hosted a total of 435 attendees from 21 states, the U.K., and Belgium for the 29^th Annual Hybrid Family Business Conference. With the 2021 conference being held both in-person at the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Sioux Falls and online through the Whova app, we were able to reach more participants than ever.
