Prairie Family Business Association announces two additions to its 15-person advisory board.
John Schwan is the founder, first-generation owner, and CEO of Schwan Financial Group, a financial, estate and business succession planning firm based in Aberdeen, South Dakota.
Nikki Nelson is a second-generation owner of Western Products, a collection of companies centered in Fargo, North Dakota. She is the associate broker for one of the companies, Cityscapes Development, and holds an advisory role for the other companies in the family portfolio.
“The advisory board contributes to the overall success of Prairie Family Business Association through program development and connection with fellow family businesses. We are pleased to welcome John Schwan and Nikki Nelson to the PFBA advisory board. Their family businesses are engaged and supportive of the Association. Their personal and professional experiences will provide valuable insights to fellow members,” said Stephanie Larscheid, executive director.
Prairie Family Business Association thanks one departing member of the advisory board, Eric Weisser. He served on the advisory board for seven years.
