Prairie Family Business Association announces two additions to its advisory board.
Tiffany Anderson, fourth generation family member of A-OX Welding Supply based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, has joined the Prairie Family Business Association advisory board.
Aaron Canfield, second generation family member of Canfield Companies based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, has also joined the advisory board.
Anderson and Canfield begin a three year term. The mission of the advisory board is to provide insight and guidance to best serve the more than 200 businesses who are members of Prairie Family Business Association.
Stephanie Larscheid, Executive Director, comments on the additions to the advisory board. “We have an excellent advisory board who understands the real value of Prairie Family Business Association. Aaron and Tiffany as well as their families have been engaged members of the Association for years. We are excited to interact with them on a regular basis as we develop and plan our programs and member engagements for the future.”
Upon completion of his second term, Rob Everist concludes six years of service on the Prairie Family Business Association advisory board. Everist is a fourth generation leader of Sioux Falls based L.G. Everist, Inc.
“Rob has been a trusted advisory board member for all of my tenure with Prairie Family Business Association. He has provided valuable program advice and has referred many families to membership. Rob has truly helped to advance the Association and we look forward to his and his family’s continued involvement as members,” states Larscheid.
Two advisory board members have taken on expanded roles. Eric Weisser serves as vice chair of the advisory board. He joins Mark Moffatt who is the current chair of the advisory board. Moffatt is a third generation leader of Moffatt Products based in Watertown, South Dakota. Weisser is a second generation leader of Weisser Distributing in Tea, South Dakota. Stacey Thomas serves as secretary. Thomas is a second generation leader of Specialized Cleaning and Restoration of Bismarck, North Dakota. Tura Synhorst, third generation leader of Coca-Cola Bottling Company High Country in Rapid City, South Dakota, has completed the role of chair and has stepped into the past chair role on the advisory board.
Prairie Family Business Association has added to their team. Alexandra Patnaud has started her role as Office Manager/Program Assistant. She is responsible for communicating and servicing the 215 business members that Prairie Family Business Association serves. She joins the team consisting of Business Development Manager Rebecca Zabel and Executive Director Stephanie Larscheid.
