The Lillestol Family of Lillestol Research was presented the 2017 Edward Shorma Excellence in Family Business Award in Moorhead, Minnesota, on October 12.
Lillestol Research was founded in 2004 by Michael & Mary Lillestol. They have grown the business from a start-up operation to now employing 25 people. Guided by 5 Core Values, “Excellence in all we do, transparent integrity, collaborative teamwork, a sincere attitude of care, and diligence toward the highest possible standards”, Lillestol Research strives to be the best in the industry.

The Edward Shorma Excellence in Family Business Award was established in honor of Edward Shorma to acknowledge and celebrate the importance of family-owned businesses to the economy and the region. This award recognizes multi-generational family businesses with practices and policies that positively impact local business, as well as the neighboring community.
