Hybrid 2021 Family Business Conference Featuring the Fifth and Sixth Generations of the Leinenkugel Family

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. March 25, 2021 — Prairie Family Business Association will host the 29th Annual Family Business Conference in a hybrid format on April 29-30, 2021. This is the second year that Prairie Family Business Association is offering attendance both in-person and virtually.

The conference brings together notable speakers from around the country including keynote presenters and featured family business success stories.

  • Keynote, Jolene Brown, is the author of Holy Crap! I Married a Farmer! and is an award-winning speaker. She is an active champion for agriculture and is co-owner and active partner of an Eastern Iowa corn and soybean farm. She will present Stop the Fighting on the Way to the Funeral Home!
  • The Leinenkugel’s family business success story presented by Dick Leinenkugel, fifth generation, and Katie Leinenkugel, sixth generation. 
  • Eric Allyn will share his story as the former fourth generation owner and chair of the board of Welch Allyn, Inc.

In addition to these featured speakers, breakout sessions will focus on topics including the relationship between culture and profit, selling your business to family in tax efficient ways and managing family dynamics.
