We are sold out of every seat at the conference. Please arrive early to find a seat. There will be extra chairs along the perimeter for those who arrive late or need to step in and out of the room.
Dress for the conference is business casual.
The room temperature will fluctuate throughout the day; therefore, if you’re a person that gets cold easily, we would suggest wearing layers.
For those attending in person, complimentary above ground and underground parking is available at the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown. There is also metered parking available on 8th Street next to the hotel. Additional overflow parking is located on the south side of 8th and Railroad by the viaduct. Parking at Cherapa Place, the CNA ramp and 8th and Railroad is not permitted as it private parking and violators are subject to tow.

If you are staying overnight at the hotel, check-in is at 3:00PM with check-out at 12:00PM. If you need a different check-in or check-out time, please be sure to connect with the hotel at 605.444.4700 to coordinate those details.
For conference attendees staying at the Hotel Phillips, check in is after 3:00pm and check out is before 11:00am. For alternate times, please work with the hotel front desk staff – call (605) 274-7445.
Yes! A breakfast buffet will be served both Wednesday (7-8am) and Thursday (7:15-8:15am).
Lunch will be available at 12:00pm on Wednesday. Snacks, water, coffee, tea, and soda will be available throughout the day.
Featuring heavy appetizers made with ingredients from family-owned producers, the Taste of Family Business social will be on Wednesday evening starting at 5:30pm at Monick Yards (down the street at 605 E 8th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57103).
Taste of Family Business is included as part of your conference registration.
Virtual Platform FAQs
Our conference app, Whova, launched on Friday, April 5th. You should have received an email with links to the conference and to download the app at the email you registered with.
Download the Whova app, log in, update your profile, add sessions to your agenda, ask questions, join a meet up, and more!
Yes! You can access speaker materials (when available) in advance through the virtual event platform, Whova. You will also be able to access materials and session recordings for 30 days following the conference.
On the event platform! Check out all the additional interactive features to connect with other attendees, ask questions, create your own personal agenda, download calendar reminders, coordinate virtual or in-person meet-ups with other attendees, post pictures, and more!
