Sioux Falls, South Dakota – August 12, 2021. Prairie Family Business Association’s Executive Director, Stephanie Larscheid, has been selected as one of the 4 under 40 award recipients. The Young Professionals Network of the Greater Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce announced the recipients at the YPN Crossroads Summit on August 12th.
This award is given every other year to 4 young professionals who have demonstrated a commitment to their industry and are passionate and collaborative leaders with a proven track record of mentoring, transferring knowledge, and motivating others. Stephanie was selected out of 72 nominations and 52 finalists for the award. Eric Weisser, vice chair of the PFBA Advisory Board, described Stephanie’s leadership, “Stephanie has a passion for serving family businesses and providing them with the tools they need to succeed. She is innovative and continued to bring new outreach opportunities forward for the membership during and following the pandemic.” Rebecca Zabel, business development manager for PFBA, appreciates Stephanie’s mentorship. “She takes time to truly learn about her staff and their passions. She encourages us to pursue learning and development opportunities and works to make sure our strengths are utilized for the betterment of the organization.”
Multiple current and past PFBA board members and staff nominated Stephanie for the award. Eric Weisser, Rob Everist, Christie Ernst, and Rebecca Zabel all participated in the YPN video presentation that was shown during the YPN Crossroads Summit awards ceremony.
