More Than Facts & Memories: The Lasting Impact of Capturing Your Family Legacy

January 29 • 10am CDT

Many family businesses sense they have a story worth sharing. But they hesitate to begin—wondering if that hunch is real, where to start, and what the process will ultimately lead to.

Featuring: Dave Goetz & Melissa Parks of Journey Sixty6 with the Muth Family of Muth Electric

In this guided conversation, Dick and Darlene Muth of Muth Electric join Journey Sixty6 co-founders Melissa Parks and Dave Goetz to share what it was really like to capture their family’s legacy story. They will speak candidly about the questions they had before starting, the emotions that surfaced along the way, and the unexpected benefits of putting their story into words.

Participants will gain a clearer understanding of what the legacy storytelling process looks like, what it asks of a family, and what it gives back—to the family, the business, and the community. This session is designed to help confirm a family’s early hunch about capturing their family story, reduce anxiety around getting started, and offer clarity about what the journey can produce.

Attendees will leave with a stronger sense that their family’s story is worth remembering.
